Process Owner Assembly

  • On-site
    • Duizel, Noord-Brabant, Netherlands
  • Wefabricate - Operations

Job description

As Process Owner Assembly, you own the assembly process itself. You don't run the team day to day. You decide, together with the organization, where assembly needs to go over the next one to three years and what it takes to get there.

You stay close to operations. You listen to what the floor tells you and turn it into structural, scalable solutions. You work directly with the Team Coordinator, the Process Engineer, and the Manufacturing Engineer. No layers in between. Together you raise the level of our processes, standards, and technical capability, and you give the production team what they need for continuous improvement.

Your focus is prevention, not reaction. You know assembly techniques inside out, you look for the ones that let us handle increasingly complex and varied products, and you push toward further automation. The direction is clear: a more autonomous, self-steering team, on an assembly process built to carry the next few years of growth.

Our culture is hands-on and ambitious: real ownership, short lines, and a sharp focus on getting things done.

What will you do?

  • You own the assembly process end to end and take responsibility for how it develops.

  • You build a clear vision for assembly and translate it into concrete steps for the next one to three years.

  • You spot structural bottlenecks and risks early and solve them together with operations, before they turn into disruptions.

  • You drive continuous improvement with Lean, Six Sigma, and similar methods, and you see improvements through to implementation.

  • You turn signals from the floor into practical, technical, future-proof solutions.

  • You guard, improve, and professionalize the standards across the assembly process.

  • You work directly with the Team Coordinator, Process Engineer, and Manufacturing Engineer to keep the process and the production team moving forward.

  • You research and apply new assembly techniques so we can keep assembling more complex and more diverse products, reliably.

  • You work toward automation and scalability, with an autonomous, self-steering team as the long-term goal.

What do you bring?

  • You're analytical and technically curious. You want to actually understand how assembly works, not just manage around it.

  • “That's how we've always done it” isn't an answer for you. You dig until you find the real cause.

  • You're independent and decisive, but you know lasting process improvement only happens when engineering and operations work closely together.

  • You think ahead: structural fixes over quick patches, prevention over reaction.

  • You translate a long-term vision into standards, automation, and improvements people can actually act on.

What do we offer you?

  • A dynamic, fast-growing scale-up with short lines and plenty of ownership

  • Plenty of freedom, responsibility and impact within an ambitious organization

Not a perfect match on paper, but you have the feeling this is your role? Just apply, we'd love to hear from you.
