Project Coordinator (NPI / New Product Introduction)

Wefabricate accelerates and strengthens the development, industrialization and production of technical products. With speed, WFdesign engineering and modular, automated manufacturing processes, we deliver complete solutions from design and prototyping to machining, molding, electronics, modules and full system assembly. That's how we help our clients innovate faster and scale with confidence.

What sets us apart is that we bring speed, smart engineering and industrialization together in one integrated manufacturing platform. With WFdesign we think along from day one, and automated production lets us deliver everything from machining and molding to electronics, modules and full systems. Clients don't get a supplier. They get an end-to-end partner that speeds up innovation and makes scaling predictable.

We're building a future in which manufacturing is radically more efficient, smarter and more predictable. Through WFdesign as our innovation engine, automation, modular production and end-to-end lifecycle management, we're becoming the most modern and scalable manufacturing partner in the Netherlands: an organization that helps clients become the market leader in their own industry. Every product you help get NPI-ready is one that reaches series production faster and more predictably.

As Project Coordinator, you're the operational lead on every project you run, owning NPI end to end: from your input during the quotation phase, through kickoff, to the moment the product is released and ready for series production. You're based on-site in Duizel or Best. This is a role for someone early in their career: we look for a technical (HBO) background and a hands-on, pragmatic mindset, and we train you into the role ourselves. Our culture is hands-on and ambitious: real ownership, short lines and a sharp focus on getting things done.

What you'll do
NPI is where a product moves from design and quotation to something the factory can actually build reliably, and every part of that phase runs through you. You:

• own execution of the NPI phase from start to finish: planning, quality and progress, from kickoff to product release, without needing sign-off to keep things moving

• become the customer's primary point of contact during NPI, taking over from the Business Developer after kickoff

• keep Commercial and Operations aligned throughout NPI by talking directly to whoever needs to hear it, not through layers

• make sure the Account Coordinator is introduced to the customer in time for a smooth handover to series production (LCM) once NPI wraps up

• give DFM (Design for Manufacturing) feedback during the quotation phase, before NPI officially starts, non-binding but backed by real manufacturing insight

• once a project moves into NPI, help make the product ready for manufacturing and determine which manufacturing process fits it best

When a project lands well, we celebrate it here. You don't need to downplay it.

This is you

• Hands-on affinity with manufacturing processes, or a strong drive to learn them fast

• Some experience with, or a genuine interest in, product design

• Strong in customer communication, and you genuinely care about customer satisfaction

• You communicate just as directly with an operator on the floor as with a director; status doesn't change how you treat people

• You do what you say you'll do, to customers and colleagues alike, even when it's inconvenient

• Technically pragmatic: you'd rather figure it out and get it done than overthink it

What we offer

• Flexible working hours, on-site at our Duizel or Best location

• Room to grow: we train you into the Project Coordinator role, a technical HBO background is your ticket in

• A dynamic, fast-growing scale-up with short lines and plenty of ownership

• Plenty of freedom, responsibility and impact within an ambitious organization

Not a perfect match on paper, but you have the feeling this is your role? Just apply, we'd love to hear from you.

• A completed HBO (Bachelor's) degree in a technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience

• Affinity with manufacturing processes and product design

• Strong communication skills across disciplines and seniority levels
