As a Quality Engineer, you are responsible to prevent quality issues in our manufacturing processes. You do that by helping the industrialization team to address risks early and learn from mistakes made in the past. When Quality issues do occur, you will act as the lead to correct them, but more importantly, to guide the operational and engineering teams to prevent the same issue to ever occur again. You monitor trends to define improvement projects. You spend much of your time on the production floor, becoming an integral part of the operations teams. On the other hand, you will help to define what is needed within Wefabricate to keep our quality standards as we grow. This includes adhering to norms for Medical and Automotive production.
In a few bullets, this is your role:
Prevent quality issues using pFMEA and dFMEA risk assessments
Cooperate with purchasing on strategies for guaranteed quality of purchased components.
Act as first contact for customers on quality-related topics
Lead root cause analyses using 8D problem solving
Monitor trends and report key quality performance indicators
Cooperate with manufacturing to improve production processes for higher quality and efficiency

Job requirements
You are someone who enjoys an environment where products and systems are being created. You are comfortable switching between higher level discussions and practical problem solving on the shop floor. You are Precise and keen on finishing, a process thinker and you keep your head cool in a dynamic environment
You likely have:
HBO/WO technical grade like Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
Experience in a production environment
Experience as e.g. a Manufacturing Engineer, Production Engineer or Service Engineer with a quality mindset
Knowledge on and experience with FMEA, 8D problem solving or similar, SPC, PPAP is beneficial but not required
